Day 1: Arrival, pick-up and hotel check-in
Enjoy an arrival pick-up service and settle into your hotel for a relaxing break, ready for the Jiangnan journey ahead.
Day 2: Nanjing — Yangzhou — Liyang
Travel to Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, and stroll through the Confucius Temple–Qinhuai River Scenic Area to experience Jinling’s historic charm and local atmosphere. Continue to Yangzhou for an immersive visit to Slender West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire the beauty of Jiangnan gardens. In the evening, continue to Liyang for a rest.
Day 3: Nanshan Bamboo Sea — Suzhou — Wuzhen area
Explore the lush Nanshan Bamboo Sea. Travel through vast bamboo forests by scenic rail and mini train, meet adorable giant pandas and watch a distinctive traditional lion dance performance in Jiming Village. Continue to Suzhou and appreciate the refined beauty of Canglang Pavilion, a famous garden with a history of more than 1,000 years. As evening approaches, check in near Wuzhen.
Day 4: Wuzhen — Hangzhou
Wander through Dongzha in Wuzhen and explore the Silk Museum to discover silk culture. Then travel to Hangzhou and enjoy the gentle beauty of West Lake and its surrounding scenery.
Day 5: Longwu — Xitang — Shanghai
Visit the tea plantations of Longwu and enjoy picking and tasting tea. Explore the historic town of Xitang and enjoy an atmospheric Hanfu outfit change and photoshoot. Continue to Shanghai, visit the modern Bund and experience the unique blend of old Shanghai and the contemporary city.
Day 6: Return journey from Shanghai/Nanjing
Depending on your onward travel arrangements, if time allows, take a leisurely stroll along Nanjing Road or visit the City God Temple to experience Shanghai’s local street atmosphere. Then return home from Shanghai or Nanjing. The journey links several of Jiangnan’s famous cities, two romantic water towns and many classic lakes, gardens and scenic areas, offering a rounded view of Jiangnan’s poetic beauty.
