Songfeng Shuyu is a splash-ink freehand painting created for the Li Qingzhao Digital Art Museum in Shenzhen. The work channels the poetic soul of Li Qingzhao — one of the most celebrated female poets of the Song Dynasty — by weaving her quiet sorrow, broad-mindedness, and romantic spirit into the interplay of mist, clouds, and pine trees.
A single figure in red appears faintly through the clouds — a quiet self-portrait of the poet, recalling her own lines: “I often remember the sunset at the Creek Pavilion, too drunk to find my way back.” It is the youthful, unbroken spirit she carried through all her years of wandering.
The original painting is now on display at the Li Qingzhao Digital Art Museum in Shenzhen.
