Set off from the hotel at the designated time in the morning and travel to Shanghai Grand View Garden, a national AAAA tourist area and Dream of the Red Chamber-themed park. It is a large theme park built around the artistic world of Cao Xueqin’s classic Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber. After lunch, visit Yuandang Bay (about 45 minutes) and stop at the popular Yuandang Bay Slow-Walking Bridge photo spot. Continue to Panlong Ancient Town, a new Jiangnan-style destination with inns, bookshops, teahouses, food and cultural and creative spaces. Explore long-established traditional brands, discover its rich historical heritage, experience renewed modern commercial culture and see the revival of Panlong’s prosperous scene. Afterwards, return to the original departure point, ending an enjoyable trip.
