Foreigners’ Lane

About This Place

Foreigners’ Lane refers to Lanes 211 and 329 on Xinhua Road, two connected lanes that form a horseshoe shape. The lanes contain 29 high-end garden residences designed and built by László Hudec in 1930, featuring British, American, Dutch, and other architectural styles. As many residents were foreign expatriates, the area became known as “Foreigners’ Lane”.
