About This Place
Shanghai Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum was founded with support from the Changning District Government of Shanghai. Located on the 2nd floor of the Changning Culture and Art Centre, it is one of the few art museums in Shanghai open all year round. Guided by the principles of “openness, innovation, diversity and refinement”, it upholds a pioneering and experimental spirit in the broader field of fine art, and is dedicated to promoting exchange and development between Chinese contemporary art and international cultures. It is a non-profit cultural and arts institution and a platform for academic exchange.
