The Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Institute Art Museum is one of the cultural landmarks in western Shanghai. Founded in 1987, it reopened to the public in 2010 following renovations. The museum has two floors, with an exhibition area of around 1,700 square metres, an exhibition route of about 500 metres, and a collection of more than 400 works, including pieces by important artists in the history of modern Chinese art such as Wu Dayu and Zhou Bichu.
