Custom Service Introduction
A native pear from western China, Korla pears were traded along the ancient Silk Road. Irrigated with Tianshan snowmelt, they developed their signature floral fragrance. More than a thousand years ago, they were carried along the Silk Road to the imperial courts of central China, where they became a prized fruit.
Custom Information
Custom NotesKorla pears are best enjoyed with the skin on. They're crisp, store well, and can be kept at room temperature for up to a month. In traditional Chinese dietary beliefs, pears are considered a "cooling" fruit, so people with sensitive stomachs may prefer to enjoy them in moderation.
