Kunqu Opera Make-up and Costume Experience

Teacher Zhao will introduce the make-up, headwear and costumes of classic Kunqu role types in detail, explaining the character settings and cultural meaning behind each look. You can observe up close, learn by watching, and experience the delicate elegance of Kunqu styling for yourself. You may also dress as a Kunqu character, such as Du Liniang, Li Bai or Gao Chong (wusheng), for an immersive Kunqu cultural experience.
