Hongqiao Art Centre is a comprehensive cultural venue featuring a 1,000-seat theatre, seven special-effects cinema screens, and several event spaces, combining theatre, film screenings, cultural and art exhibitions, and more. The theatre has 997 fixed seats, and its stage is equipped with a 42-square-metre movable orchestra pit. When the orchestra pit is lowered to floor level, the theatre’s total seating capacity can increase to 1,060. The theatre is equipped with advanced lighting and sound systems, making it suitable for musicals, plays, variety shows, traditional Chinese opera, and other types of performance.
