The Palace Museum (Second stop)
【The Palace Museum】 — The Forbidden City was the imperial palace of China’s Ming and Qing dynasties, also known as the Forbidden City. It served as the royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and is the largest and most complete surviving ancient imperial architectural complex in China. The Forbidden City is vast in scale, carefully laid out, finely built and richly decorated. It houses many rare cultural relics and represents the essence of ancient Chinese architecture, culture and art. Covering 720,000 square metres, it has more than 9,000 palace rooms and buildings. It is the best-preserved and largest ancient palace complex still standing in the world. In October 1925, it opened as the Palace Museum. It is among China’s first group of key protected cultural heritage sites and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. Main visiting points include the Meridian Gate, Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony, Hall of Preserving Harmony, Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union, Palace of Earthly Tranquillity, Hall of Mental Cultivation and more.

Experience Old Beijing Culture (Third stop)
A private performance in a Beijing courtyard house was a special form of entertainment once held in the private courtyards of wealthy or prominent families. It was often arranged for celebrations such as birthdays, weddings and festivals. It is a representative form of Beijing culture, combining courtyard architecture, opera and folk performance, etiquette and local customs, and it reached its peak in the late Qing dynasty and early Republican period.
You may also try a range of handicraft activities. The following optional activities are at your own expense and may be chosen according to guests’ preferences:
