Silk Tibetan Appliqué Embroidery Horse Artwork

Appliqué embroidery is one of the traditional intangible cultural heritage techniques of the Tibetan people. With silk as the base material, it creates three-dimensional images through cutting, filling, layering and other processes, producing an artistic effect similar to relief sculpture. This work features a fine horse as its theme. In Tibetan culture, the horse symbolizes strength, courage, freedom and the spirit of striving forward, and is also one of the closest companions of the people of the snowy plateau. The piece is handmade by an inheritor from the Rangbala Intangible Cultural Heritage Training Institute, combining traditional appliqué embroidery techniques with ethnic culture to show the unique charm and vibrant vitality of plateau culture.
