This route is mainly completed on foot and by public transport, including a ferry. Depart from your hotel and make your own way to the travel agency meeting point. Along the Bund, you will pass the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Bank of China Building, the Peace Hotel, Chen Yi Square, the Customs House, the former HSBC Building, the Asia Building and the Bund Signal Tower, while taking in the historic character of Puxi’s international architecture. You will then take a ferry across the Huangpu River and go up Shanghai Tower to overlook Pudong’s skyscrapers. Throughout the tour, you will walk and observe, experiencing the very different architectural styles of Puxi and Pudong through Puxi’s Shanghai-style buildings and Pudong’s modern towers, and feeling Shanghai’s cultural heritage as a city that embraces all cultures. After a short coffee break, the itinerary ends. The guide will assist with returning to your hotel or recommend options for your own free time afterwards.
