Mutianyu (First stop)
[Mutianyu Great Wall] — This section has deep historical significance. It is part of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall and was built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. During the Ming Dynasty, it played an important role in defending against invasions by nomadic peoples from the north. In addition, the architectural style and craftsmanship of the Mutianyu Great Wall reflect the high level of ancient Chinese building techniques, making it an important part of China’s ancient cultural heritage. Today, the Mutianyu Great Wall is a famous tourist attraction in China, drawing many visitors, while also bearing witness to changes in Chinese history.

Summer Palace (Second stop)
[Summer Palace] — Located in Haidian District, Beijing, it is the largest and best-preserved imperial garden still existing in China, covering an area of about 3.009 square kilometres. The Summer Palace was first built in the 15th year of Emperor Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1750) and was originally named Qingyi Garden. It was burned down by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860. In 1888, Empress Dowager Cixi ordered its reconstruction and renamed it the Summer Palace.
